Surf Club III is a grand Mediterranean style building painted in warm tropical colors situated directly on the Atlantic Ocean with utterly breathtaking ocean views from every unit.
Among the numerous amenities available are:
The Beach! Winter residents enjoy whale watching right from their balconies and summer residents have the unique experience of watching endangered Green, Leatherback and Loggerhead turtle hatchlings scamper out to sea from the beach right at their back door. One can swim, surf, snorkel, stroll, sun and lounge on our beach!
Oceanfront Pool and Spa: The gorgeous pool located between Surf Club II and III includes a dancing water feature, lounge chairs, hot tub, gas grill, cabana with restrooms, and a charming gazebo. The pool and spa can only be accessed with a pass and is for the exclusive use of Surf Club II and III owners, residents and guests.
Ocean view Exercise Room: Located on the ground floor level in the center breezeway. The professionally equipped exercise room features a mirrored wall, TV and stereo system, and high end exercise equipment. Plus, The View - watch the waves roll ashore, and pelicans glide by while exercising.
Ocean view Multipurpose Community Room: Also located on the ground level in the center breezeway, this beautifully appointed mirrored room, with an expansive ocean view, is equipped with a flat screen television, cable, DVD player, wireless internet, refrigerator freezer and restroom; a perfect small gathering spot which can be reserved for private functions.
An Active Social Committee: Events are planned year round: join a group outing to a favorite restaurant, attend a wine tasting or art show, see a theater production, cruise the Intra Coastal for a Sunday brunch, participate in pot luck socials, shuffleboard tournaments, tennis round robin, community BBQs, dance socials, bridge club, yoga classes, etc.
Beach Club House: Located at the north end of the Surf Club property, this magnificent club house offers a three story viewing tower, reading room, book and video lending library, large community room with a magnificent fireplace and wooden dance floor; all of which overlooks a gorgeous sparkling blue pool with spectacular panoramic ocean views. The Beach Club House can be reserved for private functions.
Sports Club: Tennis courts, volley ball court, ping pong, horseshoes, shuffle board and a lap pool are located across A1A at Matanzas Shores. Loan equipment is available at the guard gate house at the south entrance to Matanzas Shores. Boat Club: The Boat Club has a screened-in entertainment area with a summer kitchen for entertaining and a convenient dock/fishing pier located on the river. Launch a kayak and explore the river and adjoining wet lands right from the dock.
Walking/Biking Trails: Begin at Surf Club and cross A1A past the south entrance gate, sports club and tennis courts, through a lush canopy of native trees and plants to the Boat Club, dock and fishing pier, then wander back over to the north entrance of Matanzas Shores at A1A. There are also miles of sidewalks for walking, jogging and bicycling up or down historic A1A.
State protected Nature Reserve: Home to the endangered (Giant) Gopher Tortoise, the park runs along the dunes just south of Surf Club. A dune walkover to the beach provides access to the beach, and an opportunity to enjoy the preserve and its flora and fauna. On the unique cinnamon-colored beach one can explore tidal pools and observe the rare and amazing coquina rock formations. This unusually dense coquina is the bed rock on which Surf Club III is built.
24 hour access control: The gate is professionally staffed and video monitored.
Again, Welcome to our magnificent home in the sun. Please let us know if we can be of assistance to you.
